With much of the world still stuck home due to COVID 19, it is becoming harder and harder to keep ourselves entertained while at home in lockdown. Here I have 20 things you can do at home that will not only keep you entertained but can help you find a new passion as well.
Cooking is a skill many admire but few have mastered. So why not extend your Culinary repertoire and cook yourself an amazing insta- worthy meal you can be proud of.
2. Learn a language
This day in age it is easy to teach your self a new language. With plenty of resources online and apps on your phone, you can easily become fluent by the end of Lockdown. An app that I use is Duo Lingo a website you can check out for free at https://www.learnalanguage.com/
Whether you want to brush up on your maths skills or learn something entirely new. Now is the perfect time to upskill. One I use is Khan Academy that offers a wide variety of courses to suit interests. https://www.khanacademy.org/
4. Find New Music
Why Search through the depths of youtube and check out some new up and coming bands you may just find your new favourite band.
5. Find a new Game//Discover old favourites
Have an Old PC Game you haven’t played in a while? now is the time to dust it off and give it a play. Or if you head on Origin, com and check out some of their games including The sims Series and The Starwars game series.
Reading is something that most people find hard to fit into there everyday life. Now with much more time on our hands, we can find an amazing book that can transport us to another world.
I have some recommendations here:

Just because the world is in lockdown and gyms are closed doesn’t mean you can’t exercise at home, you don’t even need any equipment. Youtube has some great at-home workouts you can try from your lounge room.
18. Home Improvement
Now is the perfect time to do those improvement projects you have been putting off for months. Whether it is repainting, fixing that leaky tap or something bigger you now have the time to do it so get to it.
19. Support local business
Many Local Businesses are struggling due to the current restrictions so be sure to support your local businesses by buying their products. Whether it is the local fish and chip shop or your local cafe we need to ensure they can make it through this crisis.
Writing is a great way of expressing feelings especially if you are struggling at the moment you start a mindfulness journal to track your mood and seek help if you need.
If you have a creative streak you try and write your own novel and post it on a sharing website like Wattpad who knows you make the next best seller!
